Good news people! Arashi’s 5×10 Anniversary Tour DVD has been announced. Right now, the release date is set for April 7th, 2010, with only one version. The price is around USD$65 for two discs. Apparently the setlist for the concert includes every single since their debut single, A.Ra.Shi up until Everything, along with the song that they wrote for the fans, 5×10 and hidden track Attack It!. The content includes the August 29th Kokuritsu concert, a digest of the last Kokuritsu concert, and a digest of the 5 Dome Tour. Tracklist and buying links after the jump!
Sakurai Sho, Keio boy, Captain Failboat himself, is confirmed to be featured nude in the next issue of AnAn magazine. Previous Johnny’s have been Akanishi Jin, Yamashita Tomohisa, Matsumoto Jun, and Kimura Takuya, amongst others. I’m DAMN excited.
To quote myself on the Arashi Forum, “NUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUDE AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA”.
Of all the people I would have thought would transfer into the Johnny’s fandom, Maize was probably the last I’d expect. After spending 8 years in the Hello! Project fandom, she has finally decided to step into the world of Johnny’s, of course, starting with Arashi. It’s always nice to see that new fans are being created, and I’m sure Maize’s blog will be a fantastic read as she indulges herself into this amazing new fandom. Please check it out!
This is interesting. You have to wonder how these rankings/lists are done… Who has the time to sit and wonder to themselves “Which of our celebrities are the most masochistic?” Well, apparently the people in Japan do!! And good thing. Because they come up with lists like this. Keeps me entertained for hours.
The list and comments after the jump!
See here.
So proud! I love Sho, I think he is not only well spoken, but incredibly smart, and dedicated. Oh ya, and hot. So congratulations to him!!
The official Oricon list of the top ten most popular artists of 2009 is out, and Arashi isn’t #1. How shocking?! #5 is still great, though! Great work- you had a fabulous year!
…okay, so personally, I think the Yatterman symbol looks like underwear…that was actually the first thing I thought of when I saw the it.
So onto a review. I watched it on the train ride home from visiting a friend, and all-in-all I thought it was a pretty cool movie. It struck me as really childish, and something that would be catered towards a younger audience, but it wasn’t unbearable to watch. I think it appeared childish to me because of the uncomplicated plot, and the misspelling of words like Narway, and Ogypt…cute, but very childish. Though there were also some parts which were pretty perverted (Yatter-wan getting a nosebleed from Doronbo’s mecha), so I’m not quite sure what to classify it as.
To be honest, I was only watching it for Sho at the beginning, but it was actually an all right movie. Sho wasn’t as cool as I had hoped he would be in his role (not like I really knew what to expect), but he was still cute regardless. And the scenes with Gan and #2 were really cute.
As I had no idea about anything related to Yatterman, and having only played the Japanese Nintendo DS games very briefly without understanding the text parts, I feel that the movie was pretty explanatory to viewers who had no knowledge of it at all. Though it also wasn’t too verbose so that people who did already know about it would get bored watching the explanations take place. I thought that was a pretty good call from the director, and the way it was done was good. Though it was a random break in the movie, and it clearly reminded the viewer that it was a movie they were watching, I think it added to the experience of it.
The ending was really touching as well. I will definitely keep the movie, but I don’t think I would watch it again. And if I do, it would have to be much later, after I’ve forgotten most of the details and plot.
Has anyone else seen it? Thoughts?
Are There Hot Ones of Them?
Arashi & KAT-TUN sue publishing company
So apparently someone has tried to make some money ILLEGALLY off of our boys! D: Under the guise of an unauthorized biographies and stuff, he actually published a photobook. Too bad he’s not authorized to use it. PUBLISHING FAIL. Srsly, if you wanna print photobooks of them, just go work for Johnny… But… you know… If the books are cheaper than an actual PB from Johnny’s then I’d buy it - NO. I WILL ONLY SUPPORT THE REAL THING!!!

Heeeeeeeee, this page kept me from going to class one day…. Suffice to say, I love the wit and snark coming from this page. Tey really has put a lot of effort into to screen-capping these PVs and letting loose what they have to say about each of the members in Arashi…
Oh god, my stomach hurts from reading some of these. And read the first page carefully! These are jokes! Parodies! Not meant to be taken seriously. So calm down, and have a good laugh
As expected, Johnny’s has taken the top three spots on Oricon’s most recent poll. I’m slightly surprised that Aiba’s there, but not because I don’t think he dresses well, just simply because I’ve never made the connection. Matsujun comes in at 9th, making 4 of the top 10 members of JE.
