The 13th NIKKAN SPORTS WINTER 2010 DRAMA AWARDS winners have been announced, and to no-one’s surprise, Johnny’s has once again dominated the awards. But what else is to be expected when you leave the voting up to Japanese women in their 20’s? (Relevance bolded.)

In other news, Ueto Aya was spotted leaving Morita Go’s (V6) apartment, according to Josei 7. Apparently, rumors similar to this first appeared seven years ago. Could it be that their relationship is still going strong? (Click the picture for a larger view)

Tegoshi Yuya (NEWS) was reported to have been in a car accident earlier this week, according to FRIDAY. Rear-ending another vehicle (Sound familiar, Matsujun?) while exiting a parking lot, Tegoshi claimed that he thought the other vehicle was going to yield to him. Apparently not. Thankfully, though, both parties were unhurt in this incident.

Johnny’s Entertainment is seemingly working in collaboration with a Chinese entertainment agency to form a Chinese-Japanese boyband. Hunan TV has contacted JE and decided to hold a televised competition welcoming all Japanese and Chinese boys and men, ages 12-26, where the winners will form the new boyband and join Hunan TV as hosts for a new TV program. Nintendo has released six CMs featuring Arashi’s Ohno Satoshi and Ninomiya Kazunari (commonly referred to as Ohmiya). They can be seen here. Watching the interaction between these two is amusing! Definitely a must-see. (Translations provided here!)

news every is the new news program replacing NNN News Realtime, starting march 29th. Koyama is going to be joining the show every Thursday, covering human interest topics, such as illness, disabilities, etc.

Koyama’s a really passionate person, and I believe he’ll do an amazing job with this. He’s confident, a great talker, and I really believe he’ll be able to touch thousands with his ability to reach peoples hearts. I’m really happy he got this gig <3 It suits him perfectly.

Sotsu Uta

It’s a four part special with four different storylines, airing march 1-4th. Massu and Masami’s episode is episode four, and its about Massu, an old classmate of Masami’s, encouraging her to move forward with her life in Tokyo.

It looks interesting, and with such a cast, it won’t be anything short of adorable <3 I can’t wait!

So far this is just a rumor, but I read (don’t hold me on this, I don’t know the credibility) that a spring drama for Ryo & Koki has been confirmed. However, I’m not entirely sure if this is the actual title.

YES YES YES YES. After almost a full year of waiting, NEWS is finally releasing a single as a GROUP. Johnny was generous to us when it came to the solo/special activities in 2009, but like a lot of the other fans, I’m so excited to see NEWS back together as a group again!

The limited edition comes with 6 alternate jackets–almost definitely one for each member. Who will be YOUR cover boy? If you know me, you probably know who mine is
