YES YES YES YES. After almost a full year of waiting, NEWS is finally releasing a single as a GROUP. Johnny was generous to us when it came to the solo/special activities in 2009, but like a lot of the other fans, I’m so excited to see NEWS back together as a group again!

The limited edition comes with 6 alternate jackets–almost definitely one for each member. Who will be YOUR cover boy? If you know me, you probably know who mine is

So I found one of Yamapi’s new songs called ‘Me’, and it’s all in English (apparently). Interesting, right? But then you hear his vocals. VERY weak. I mean, I LOVED ‘Loveless’, but this is just bad. He sounds like he is out of breath and unable to hit the notes throughout the whole thing. Not impressed, and not gonna lie, didn’t really listen to the lyrics, even though I played it three times in an attempt to…check it here

There is another one called ‘Moonlight’, but I can’t listen to this one as my internet is being strange, but it’s here.

Okay if the content was crap I’d be on my way to Japan to kick some Johnny’s asses right about now. What the hell are they thinking? Why couldn’t they have used a crappily photoshopped picture of all the guys in ugly concert outfits or something? Why THIS? It looks like a cover of an independantly published shitty american comic book or something. Am I still excited for the release of this DVD? Yes. However it’s definitely not going to be at the top of my DVD pile.

Tomohisa Yamashita’s first solo concerts

Okay, what? I love Yamapi sometimes and all, but what? Okay, R&B? No! See, MOLA was a fun song for the fans but I personally think it sounded like the kind of thing Russel Peters would sing to make fun of Japanese people failing at english. I’m not looking forward to the single at all, at all!

Also, 5 shows at yokohama arena? Come on, Johnny! Is he actually interesting enough to hold his own concerts? I don’t think so.

I bet a million people disagree with me here but seriously. I really don’t like this. There’s tons more in Johnny’s that could hold this a lot better than he could.

Yamapi dating model Kagami?

To believe or not to believe? Tokyograph reports on yet another Yamapi dating rumor, stating that this time he’s dating a half Japanese model named Kagami Seira. Wasn’t it just a little while ago that a rumor surfaced of him and Suzuki Ami? Personally, I don’t ‘believe’ rumors unless there’s picture proof, but it’s not like there’s much to deny here. If he is dating her, great, if he’s not, great! I guess the news can only be confirmed when it is reported that Kagami has also been infected with H1N1. Only time will tell!
